Elizabeth is a wife, mother of three, chocolate lover, and coffee enthusiast. Her doula journey began after the birth of her second child. During that pregnancy, her husband was deployed and would not return before the birth. She hired a doula to ensure someone would be with her during labor and help her cope so she could achieve her idea of a perfect birth. Little did she know just how perfect that birth would be. Her husband's ship pulled into port in Dubai for a three day port call, and her labor began the next day. With the help of her doula and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth labored how she wanted, and with the help of perfect timing and modern technology, her husband witnessed their child being born. The continuous support she received during labor enabled her to have the intervention-free birth she desired. After this experience, she knew she wanted to help other women understand their rights, feel empowered, and have a joyous birth.

She has a passion for providing education, supporting choices, and empowering women and their partners.
